Heat Shields / Shroud

Heat shield is to keep the piston ring and the bearing housing from the hot gases, and protect the piston ring from hitting by exhaust gas.

l In the old generation, heat shield was a pressed piece of stainless steel,  the material quality was not good and dimensional accuracy was not high

l As updating of new generation of VNT / VGT turbo series, E&E also use better material to withstand high temperature gas.

l Twin heat shields in addition to VNT steel gasket can be provided either.
